30 Years of Changing Lives! 1991-2021
A Humble Past
Education and Training Resources earned its current status as a workforce development provider in the summer of 1991, receiving our first education and training contract with the Barren River Area Development in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Designed to render services such as GED training, job placement, and employability skills training to disadvantaged persons in South Central Kentucky, this contract opened the door for ETR to begin providing these services throughout the country.
An Exciting Present
Today, ETR is the primary contractor and operator of multiple Job Corps centers across the nation, including:

Through our partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor and Office of Job Corps, ETR currently employs over 900 full-time workforce development staff, serving approximately 2,500-3,000 young adults in both residential and non-residential campuses every year.
